Nottingham Vandals Target Vehicles in City Centre Tyre Slash Spree
Police are hunting a tyre-slasher who wreaked havoc on six vehicles in Nottingham city centre. The tyres of three vans and three cars parked on Park Row and East Circus Street were punctured overnight on Thursday, 16 March 2023.
Suspect Spotted on CCTV
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to question over the malicious damage. The suspect is described as a white man with white hair and a beard, wearing glasses and a flat cap. He was seen in an orange high-visibility knee-length jacket and is believed to have a limp.
Police Condemn ‘Irresponsible’ Damage
PC Madison Moss-Hayes of Nottinghamshire Police slammed the incident as “an extensive act of criminal damage causing entirely needless inconvenience and financial impact.”
“Irresponsible acts like this won’t be tolerated. We’re working hard to catch those responsible,” she said.
