19-Year-Old Arrested Over Murder of Dad-of-Five in Derbyshire

A 19-year-old has been arrested in Creswell, Derbyshire, this morning in connection with the murder of Mohammed Istakhar.

Public Appeal Leads to Arrest

The suspect was caught following a public appeal for help in tracking him down. Mr Istakhar was tragically found dead at the junction of Braggs Farm Lane and Lady Lane last Tuesday, 29 November.

Police Move Fast

The 19-year-old is now being transferred to the West Midlands for questioning over the killing. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the murder of the father-of-five.
