Police Nab Two After Suspicious Car Stop in Sutton-in-Ashfield
Officers from the Ashfield Operation Reacher team clocked two suspects acting dodgy in a car around 1.10pm on 21 March. The vehicle was spotted cruising through Sutton-in-Ashfield with no valid MOT certificate, so cops pulled it over in Ashgate.
Search Uncovers Suspected Illegal Items
Despite being stopped, the pair kept acting suspiciously. A thorough search of the car uncovered suspected illegal items, leading to their immediate arrest.
