Body Found After Blood Spotted on Train
Officers were called when a member of the public spotted blood on the front of a train. A search by police and Network Rail staff uncovered the body of a man lying trackside.
Death Treated as Unexplained
The man’s body had been there for several hours and showed signs of multiple impacts from passing trains. A police source said it’s still unclear whether foul play was involved.
Investigation Underway
- Scene of Crime officers spent the evening photographing and examining the site.
