Woman Punched and Robbed in Shocking Mansfield Attack

Police were called to Browning Street, Mansfield after a brutal robbery left a woman with facial injuries. The victim was repeatedly punched in the head around 8.30pm on 19 September 2022.

Suspect Flees with Stolen Phone

After being knocked to the ground, the woman’s phone was snatched by the attacker, who then bolted from the scene. The victim was left shaken and injured.

Manhunt Underway for Brutal Mugger

  • Suspect described as a white male, mid-20s, medium build
  • Wearing a hat or hood, light-coloured waterproof jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms
  • Has stubble facial hair

Detective Constable Dave Smith urged witnesses to come forward:

“It is extremely important that anyone who recalls seeing a man matching this description at the time of this incident comes forward immediately.

This was a horrible incident causing facial injuries and distress. Robbery is a serious crime with no place in our community. We are determined to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.”
