Man Attacked in Oxford Road Shop – Police Hunt Key Witness
A man in his forties was assaulted inside Hewad Store on Oxford Road around 6.15pm on Saturday, 19 December last year. Luckily, the victim escaped without any injuries.
No Arrests Yet – CCTV Released
So far, no arrests have been made. Thames Valley Police have now released a CCTV image of a person who could hold crucial information about the attack.
Police Appeal for Help
“I am releasing this CCTV image of someone who may have important information relating to this incident,” said PC Matthew Fairman from Thames Valley Police, based at Reading police station.
“If you recognise this person, please contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 43200432106.”

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and help crack the case.
