Man in his 50s assaulted in broad daylight on Maple Road, SE20

Police rushed to Maple Road at around 2.30pm on Thursday, 6 March 2025, following reports of an assault. Officers arrived together with the London Ambulance Service to find a man in his 50s injured.
The victim was swiftly taken to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Crime Scene and Arrest
A crime scene was quickly set up as police launched their initial investigation. One man was arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently held in police custody.
