A woman in her 30s was brutally assaulted on Christmas Eve around 2pm on Morris Road, near the 1 Centre. Now police are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Brutal Attack in Broad Daylight
The victim was walking along Morris Road—which links Commercial Road and Devonshire Road—when she was suddenly grabbed by an unknown woman. The attacker yanked her to the floor and punched her, leaving the victim with bruising on her face and body.
Police Hunting Woman in Pink Fur Coat
The suspect is described as a white female, mid to late 20s, about 5’5″ tall, with dark or black hair. Crucially, she was wearing a distinctive pink fur coat with a hood at the time.
