Drugs Bust Rocks Mansfield Street! Police stormed a terraced house on Newgate Lane, Mansfield, uncovering a stash of Class A and B drugs alongside cash and suspected drug-dealing kit on Thursday, 2 March.
Man Arrested in Major Drug and Stolen Goods Probe
Mansfield Central neighbourhood officers arrested a 41-year-old man at the scene. He faces charges of possession with intent to supply drugs and handling stolen property.
Inside the property, officers also found what appear to be stolen high-end clothing, cosmetics, and even packets of meat.
Police Praise Community Tips in Successful Raid
Sergeant Alice Bartle of Nottinghamshire Police said:
“This was an intelligence-led warrant and would not have been possible without information from the community. We hope it sends a clear message. Drug supply devastates our neighbourhoods, fuelling violence, antisocial behaviour, and exploitation. We work extremely hard to take drugs off our streets and bring offenders to justice.”
She added: “Illegal drug dealings fund other crimes like shop theft, harming local businesses. I urge anyone who suspects criminal activity or spots anything suspicious to contact us. Your tip could be the missing piece in cracking a case.”
Ongoing Investigation
Sergeant Bartle confirmed the probe continues but praised the team for removing drugs and recovered stolen items from the streets.
