Finsbury Park Stabbing: Deliveroo Rider Murdered After Road Rage Row

Detectives are hunting for answers after a fatal stabbing in Finsbury Park on Friday evening. The victim, believed to be 30-year-old Algerian delivery rider Takieddine Boudhane, was stabbed in a suspected road rage attack on Lennox Road near Charteris Road.

Spate of Violence on Busy London Road

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at around 6.50pm on January 3rd. Despite their efforts, Mr Boudhane was pronounced dead by 7.42pm. His next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is pending.

Mr Boudhane worked as a courier for Uber Eats and Deliveroo and was with another rider at the time. The second man fled the scene but has since been traced by police. A murder probe led by Detective Chief Inspector Neil John is underway.

Police Chase Van Driver in Murder Hunt

“The investigation is making good progress,” said DCI John. “But we urge everyone with info or who witnessed the fight to come forward. This busy road makes it likely someone saw or even filmed the incident.”

“An altercation broke out between Mr Boudhane on his motorcycle and a white VW Caddy van driver near Lennox Road and Charteris Road. Police found and seized the van in Islington two days after the stabbing for forensic analysis.”

“The van driver is now the target of a police manhunt. We cannot release their identity to protect the investigation. Our current evidence suggests this was a spontaneous traffic row with no other links.”

Witness Appeal: Help Catch Killer

So far, no arrests have been made. Police have conducted a full forensic sweep of the area and continue to piece together the events leading up to the attack. Detectives ask anyone with dashcam footage or relevant information to call 101 or message @MetCC. Quote reference CAD5934/3Jan.

The hunt is on for justice for Takieddine Boudhane. Any tip-offs could be the break cops need.
