A 15-year-old yob caught on video attacking a dog walker in Cowes has been arrested but released under investigation. Jarred Webb, from Newport, is linked to a serious assault last month on Bath Road.

Hundreds took to the victim’s Facebook to condemn the attacker. Comments ranged from “What an ugly p****” to “Karma will soon find you.” One wrote, “Would love to see someone put him in hospital along with his bitch.”
Police Keep Investigation Open
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We are continuing to investigate a report of a 41-year-old man being assaulted on Bath Road in Cowes. We received the report shortly after 11:30pm on Thursday 26 July.”
“The victim was treated for lacerations to his head. Enquiries are ongoing.”
