Young Man Stabbed in Hackney, Police Launch Borough-Wide Security Clampdown
Stabbing Shocker in Clarence Road
Police rushed to Clarence Road, Hackney (E5) after a stabbing was reported just after 5pm on Tuesday.
The victim is a man in his 20s, who was quickly taken to hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Section 60 Powers Activated Across Hackney
In a move to curb rising tensions, Inspector Ireland authorised a Section 60 stop-and-search order from 7pm Tuesday until 1am Wednesday across the entire borough.
This comes after a serious violent incident raised safety concerns in the area.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
No arrests have been made so far.
Officers urge anyone who saw something or has information to call 101 quoting reference CAD 5314/24 August.
