Section 60 Stop-and-Search Zone Extended in St Leonards

Sussex Police have extended a Section 60 order in Hollington, St Leonards, for another 24 hours. This gives officers emergency powers to stop and search anyone in the area without suspicion.

Police Keep Pressure On

Prevention Inspector Aidan Cornwall from the Hastings & Rother Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We haven’t had any more reports of violence, but our investigation is ongoing. That’s why the order stays in place.”

Public Urged to Stay Vigilant

Inspector Cornwall added: “Please stay alert and report anything suspicious online, on 101, or directly to officers patrolling the area. In an emergency, always call 999.”
