Kent Police slam seven suspected drug dealers in dawn raids across East Kent
Busts Sweep Dover, Deal, Thanet and Aylesham
Seven suspected members of a drug dealing ring were snapped up early on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, after Kent Police hit seven homes in Dover, Deal, Thanet, and Aylesham in a coordinated crackdown on organised crime.
Hoard of Heroin, Crack, Ecstasy, Knives and Cash Seized
During the raids, officers uncovered a stash of suspected heroin, crack cocaine and ecstasy. Knives and piles of cash were also scooped up. Sniffer dogs helped track down the hidden drugs.
The haul led to the arrest of six men and one woman, aged between 21 and 63, all held on suspicion of drug offences. They remain in custody as police dig deeper into the ring.
Detective Inspector Issues Stark Warning
“Organised crime networks not only profit from the misery of drug users, but their activities fuel antisocial behaviour and crime in our towns,” said Detective Inspector Eleanor Miller.
“Anyone dealing drugs in Kent should know our officers could be knocking on their door tomorrow.”
Investigation Continues – Police Urge Public to Speak Up
The arrests form part of Kent Police’s ongoing fight to smash drug networks and curb the violence and crime they bring.
Officers are still investigating and urge anyone with information about drug activity to report it by calling 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
