Teen Fighting for Life After Brutal Stabbing in Folkestone
A teenager is seriously injured and fighting for his life after a savage stabbing near Folkestone bus station on Tuesday evening.
Massive Crime Scene and Air Ambulance Rush
The attack unfolded around 7.30pm on May 17 in Middleberg Square, Folkestone. Emergency services raced to the scene, including armed Kent Police officers, paramedics, and the Kent, Sussex, and Surrey air ambulance. The victim, a local teen, was airlifted to a major trauma centre in London.
A grim eyewitness said, “The paramedics were working on him and he didn’t look good.”
Multiple Arrests and Police Hunt for Weapon
Kent Police have arrested four other teenagers in connection with the stabbing. Police search dogs scoured the area to find the weapon used in the attack. A crime scene remains cordoned off as investigations continue.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at around 8pm on Tuesday, May 17, to a disturbance in Middleberg Square, Folkestone. Two males sustained stab wounds and were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Two other males have been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”
