Man Linked to Westminster Double Murder Found Injured on Ealing Barge

Just before 6pm on Wednesday, 25 August, police raided a canal barge near Ferrymead Avenue, Ealing. Inside, officers discovered a man they believe to be 49-year-old Lee Peacock.

Peacock was wanted in connection with the shocking double murder in Westminster on 19 August. The discovery marked a critical breakthrough in the ongoing investigation.

Serious Injuries Believed Self-Inflicted

The man was found with severe injuries, thought to be self-inflicted. London Ambulance Service paramedics and the London Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.

He was swiftly taken to hospital, where his condition remains life-threatening.

Independent Probe Underway

The Metropolitan Police’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been alerted. The case has also been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which will lead an independent investigation into the incident.
