Family Pay Moving Tribute to “One in a Million” Natasha

The family of Natasha Thorp, just 21, have paid heartfelt tributes after she was tragically killed in a car crash in Sutton Coldfield.

Natasha was hit by a car on Brassington Avenue shortly before midnight on 22 August. Despite desperate efforts by emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another woman suffered a leg injury in the smash. Police have arrested two men on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving.

“Going forward without her is so hard to imagine. To know Natasha was to know a life filled with love, laughter, and joy. It was a privilege to know her as part of our family or as a friend. You were one in a million, Tasha, and you will never be forgotten. Night Tash, love you.”

Family Thanks Emergency Crews and Good Samaritans

Natasha’s family also extended thanks to the emergency services who fought tirelessly to save her, as well as members of the public who stayed with her in her final moments.

“It’s very important to our family to know that she wasn’t alone at the end. We would also like to thank the wonderful people of Sutton Coldfield for their kind support, particularly those who stayed with, or came to help Natasha on that terrible night.”

Police Hunt Silver Toyota Corolla Linked to Crash

West Midlands Police confirmed their investigation is ongoing and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Officers are specifically keen to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of a silver Toyota Corolla connected to the collision.

A police spokesperson said one man remains on bail with strict conditions while another has been released with no further action.

Social media has flooded with tributes calling Natasha a “beautiful young lady” and “the most amazing person.”

Specially trained officers continue to support Natasha’s grieving family.
