Teenager Fighting for Life After Stabbing in Mottingham
A 15-year-old boy is battling for his life after a brutal stabbing in Mottingham tonight.
Critical Condition After Attack on Mottingham Road
The stabbing happened around 7pm near the junction of Mottingham Road and Elmstead Lane. The teen was rushed to a south London hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Attacker
Police were called at 7:05pm on Sunday, June 17, after reports of a stabbing. Officers and paramedics arrived to find the injured boy. So far, no arrests have been made, and inquiries are ongoing.
A Met police spokesman said: “Police were called at approximately 7.05pm on Sunday, June 17 to reports of a male suffering stab injuries in Mottingham Road, near the junction with Elmstead Lane, SE9. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a male, believed aged 15, suffering stab injuries. He has been taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.”
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
