Knife-Wielding Thugs Target Teens on Bexley Bus
Police are hunting two men after a terrifying knifepoint robbery on a 229 bus in Bexley High Street. Two 16-year-old boys were threatened with knives and robbed of their phones in broad daylight.
Bus Horror Caught on CCTV
The shocking attack took place just after 4.15pm on Monday, February 19. The Metropolitan Police have now released CCTV images of the suspects, both wearing black hoodies. One was seen climbing the bus stairs, the other stood nearby outside.
Thankfully, neither boy was physically hurt, but both were left shaken and scared by the ordeal on the busy double-decker bus.
A spokesperson for MPS Bexley said: “We are asking anyone who recognises these two individuals or who witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with our investigation.”
