Teen Knocked Out in Basingstoke Assault – Police Hunt Suspect
Police are hunting a man after a teenager was left unconscious in a brutal attack outside Oriental Wok on New Street, Basingstoke.
Victim Taken to Hospital
The victim, an 18-year-old, was attacked just before 6.30pm on Saturday, 25 May. He was knocked out cold and rushed to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Do You Recognise This Man?
Officers want to speak to the man pictured in CCTV images. He wore dark clothes and jeans and sports a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck. Notably, he was carrying a child’s scooter at the time.
