Serious Crash on Greenwith Hill: Woman Hospitalised After Pedestrian Collision

Police are hunting for info after a red Peugeot hit a pedestrian on Greenwith Hill, Perranwell Station near Truro. The smash happened at around 9am on Saturday, 5 December.

Emergency Crews Rush In, Woman Injured

Emergency services – police, fire, and ambulance – raced to the scene on the narrow rural road. A woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. The road was shut for hours while cops investigated. Authorities thanked the public for their patience.

Driver Arrested on Multiple Charges

A 51-year-old Penryn man was arrested suspected of failing to stop after an accident, drink driving, dangerous driving, and no insurance. He’s been bailed until 1 January pending further inquiries.
