Tragic A64 Crash: Teen Dies After Being Hit by BMW Near York
Police have named the man killed in a collision on the A64 near York in the early hours of Monday, 27 March 2023. He was 18-year-old George Sawyer from Farnley Tyas, West Yorkshire.
What Happened?
Just before 1.20am, George was struck while crossing the eastbound carriageway by a black BMW. The driver, a man in his 40s, is cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.
