Third Suspect Image Released in Folkestone Distraction Theft

Cash Stolen After Double Approach

Police hunting distraction thieves in Folkestone have put out a third image of a man they want to question. The theft happened between noon and 1pm on Thursday, 9 January 2025.

A woman was targeted twice by a gang of men — first inside WH Smith and then again outside on Sandgate Road. When she got home, she found cash missing from her trolley.

Kent Police Seek Public’s Help

Kent Police have now released pictures of three suspects who may be linked to the crime. They believe these individuals could hold vital clues.

“If you recognise these people or have any info, please contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/5424/25,” urged officers. “You can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
