Three Arrested Over Spate of Armed Robberies in Bedfordshire
Police have arrested two men and a woman in connection with a string of armed robberies across Bedfordshire. The suspects are believed to be linked to multiple business hold-ups in Luton, Bedford, and Dunstable.
Robberies Hit Ladbrokes, Verve Hotel, McDonald’s and Co-Op
- Friday, 3pm: Officers rushed to a Ladbrokes in Sundon Park Parade, Luton, after a man threatened staff with a firearm and demanded money.
- Early Saturday: Two more robberies reported in Bedford at the Verve Hotel and McDonald’s on Goldington Road.
- Saturday, 5.12pm: A fourth incident at a Co-Op store on Westfield Road, Dunstable, was reported.
Vehicle Linked to Crimes Leads to Arrests
Just before 6pm Saturday, police found a vehicle in Luton believed to be connected to the robberies. A search of the area followed, leading to the arrest of a man in his 40s, a man in his 30s, and a woman in her 30s on suspicion of robbery.
All three remain in police custody for questioning.

Detectives urge anyone with information about the incidents to call police on 101, quoting operation “OP Damara.”
