Three Held Over Stratford Stabbing Murder
Detectives have arrested three suspects following the fatal stabbing of a man in Newham. The brutal killing unfolded early Monday morning near Whalebone Lane, E15.
Three Arrests Made
- A 25-year-old man faces a murder charge.
- Two females, aged 34 and 17, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
- All three remain in police custody at separate London stations.
Victim Named and Cause of Death Confirmed
The victim, 42-year-old Lithuanian national Giedrius Juskauskas, was found collapsed with stab wounds around 12:40am on June 17. Paramedics called police after discovering him unresponsive near West Ham Lane.
A post-mortem confirmed he died from hypovolemic shock caused by multiple stab injuries. His family has been informed.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith, leading the probe, urged the public to come forward:
“Overnight, we have made three arrests but our investigation continues. I am urging anyone with information regarding this fatal stabbing to come forward and speak with my team. Were you in the vicinity of Whalebone Lane from around 00:30hrs? Did you see anything suspicious? Your information could prove vital to our enquiries.”
