Two teenage cricket fans have died after a horror car accident in Preston, Lancashire. Umar Mahmood, 18, who starred in Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams, and 16-year-old Adam Bodi lost their lives following the crash on Chain Caul Way.

The incident happened Tuesday evening involving an Audi A3. Adam tragically passed on Thursday, with Umar succumbing to injuries on Friday morning. A third passenger, 17, remains hospitalised but is now in stable condition.

Umar gained national spotlight through the BBC show hosted by cricket legend Freddie Flintoff. His school, Penwortham Priory Academy, praised him as a “bright, studious, and well-loved” student passionate about geography and cricket.
Adam was remembered as “an amazing pupil” with “fantastic memories” — popular, confident, and a talented footballer. Both teens were cherished members of their community.
