A man has died after being swept off a road by fast-flowing water from an overflowing brook in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire. The heartbreaking incident happened around 10:40am BST.

West Mercia Police responded quickly but sadly found the man dead by 12:35pm. Identification is still pending, though a local man in his 60s is believed to be involved. His family has been informed and is getting support from officers.
