Strict 48-Hour Driving Ban Slaps Down Antisocial Motorists in Dartford
A new 48-hour order kicks off at 6pm this Friday, March 4, 2022, targeting troublemakers on the A206 and B255 roads.
Roads Under Lockdown
The crackdown covers key trouble spots including Crossways Boulevard, Quadrant Court, Galleon Boulevard, Anchor Boulevard, Newton’s Court, Schooner Court, Capstan Court, Masthead Close, Clipper Boulevard, and Bridge Close.
Police Crackdown on Antisocial Driving
Anyone caught driving dangerously, causing alarm, or stirring distress will be ordered by police or PCSOs to leave and banned from returning — or face arrest.
“Kent Police has received reports from residents about groups of motorists driving in an antisocial manner, causing excessive noise and, in some incidents, a danger to other road users,” said Inspector Trevor Jenner of the Dartford Community Safety Unit.
“The actions of a small minority behaving irresponsibly can have a big impact on the community. Those who persistently cause a nuisance risk having their vehicles seized.”
Got a Problem? Speak Up
If you spot antisocial behaviour on the roads, call 101 or report it online via the Kent Police website. Don’t let troublemakers ruin your neighbourhood.
