Twickenham Tragedy: Victim Named After Fatal Strawberry Hill Stabbing
The young man fatally stabbed at Strawberry Hill station on January 8 has been named as 21-year-old Anojan Gnaneswaran from Twickenham. The shocking attack unfolded just before midnight at the south London train station.
Two Arrested as Police Probe Deadly Stabbing
Officers rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing. Sadly, Anojan was found with critical injuries and died at the station.
Two men, aged 19 and 21, have been arrested in connection with the stabbing. Previously, three others – a 19-year-old, a 20-year-old, and a 15-year-old boy – were released under investigation. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy has been bailed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses with Crucial Evidence
Detective Inspector Paul Attwell thanked the public for their support and urged anyone with information to come forward. He especially called on locals who might have seen, heard, or recorded anything around the station between 11pm on January 8 and 12:15am on January 9.
“If you have CCTV, dash-cam, or doorbell footage from that night, please help us bring the culprits to justice,” DI Attwell said.
