Teen Shot Dead in Lambeth – Police Arrest Two Suspects
Detectives are hunting answers after a young man was fatally shot in Lambeth. Two males have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are now in custody at south London police stations.
Tragedy in West Norwood
Police were called to Friar Mews, West Norwood, at 4.12pm on Wednesday 27 March after the London Ambulance Service reported a critically injured young male. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but the victim, believed to be in his late teens, was pronounced dead at around 4.45pm.
Major Investigation Underway
The victim’s next of kin are being informed, with formal ID and a post-mortem to follow. Officers have sealed off the scene, handing the case over to the Homicide and Major Crime Command to lead the investigation.
Detectives are scouring CCTV footage and carrying out forensic checks. They’re urging anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information to come forward.
