A 52-year-old man is fighting for his life following a savage assault on Ridley Road, Hackney, in the early hours today. The Metropolitan Police were scrambled to the scene at 7.40am on Wednesday, 21 May, after reports of a violent clash. Two Arrested for Attempted Murder
Police have taken two men aged 32 and 36 into custody on suspicion of attempted murder. Both suspects remain held as officers continue their investigation. A crime scene remains sealed off on Ridley Road, with forensic teams combing the area for evidence.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the attack or has video footage to come forward immediately.
