Two Men Busted in Night-Time Car Strip and Theft Spree!
Suspicious Activity Sparks Police Hunt
Police rushed to Cadnam Crescent at around 11.10pm after reports of two men acting suspiciously and removing parts from a vehicle.
A description of the suspects and their getaway ride was quickly circulated. Officers tracked the vehicle to Milton Road but found it abandoned.
Suspects Spotted and Arrested in Nearby Street
About 20 minutes later, two men matching the descriptions were spotted in Stockport Avenue. Both were promptly arrested.
Details on Arrested Men and Ongoing Investigation
- Men, both in their 50s, hailed from Dorset and Salisbury.
- They face charges of theft from a vehicle and vehicle interference.
- Currently held at Gablecross police station for questioning.
