Armed Gang Smash Windows in Lichfield Business Raids
Masked Thugs Launch Violent Break-In
Just before 10:30pm on Monday, November 2, police were called to reports of an ongoing break-in at a business on Lichfield Street. A gang of men armed with weapons smashed windows and doors in a brazen bid to break inside.
White Van Used in Getaway
The violent crew fled the scene in a white van, leaving behind shattered glass and chaos.
Police Link Raids Across Town
Detective Sergeant Kiley Rounds from Force CID South said: “We believe this smash-and-grab is linked to two other attacks, including a restaurant on Church Street where windows were also smashed.”
She urged anyone with information or footage to come forward.
Two Arrested, Hunt Continues
- A 52-year-old from Tamworth and a 38-year-old from Birmingham are in custody, questioned over all three break-ins.
- They remain held as police crack the case.
