Stolen VW Spotted and Chase Ends with Two Arrests
Just after midnight on Friday, 23 December 2022, a stolen VW from a burglary in Swale was caught on the move over the Sheppey Crossing.
High-Speed Chase Follows
Police patrols spotted the stolen vehicle and gave chase when it refused to stop. The pursuit ended in Warden, where the occupants ditched the car and fled on foot.
Two Arrested After Foot Chase
Officers quickly searched the area and arrested a 20-year-old man from Sheerness and a 17-year-old boy on Jetty Road. Both were taken into custody and later released on bail, pending ongoing investigations.
