Inspector Issues Warning to Criminals Targeting Rural Areas

“Thanks to our roads policing unit and tactical support group, plus help from South Yorkshire officers, we’ve arrested two and recovered several stolen vehicles,” Inspector Hayley Crawford said. “Vehicle thefts in our rural communities is a top priority. We understand how stealing vans and cars can wreck someone’s business, so we’re doing everything possible to catch those responsible.”

“I want to send a loud and clear message to roaming criminals: rural areas are not easy pickings. We’re listening, acting, and working with partners to ensure those targeting our communities face the law.”

“If anyone has info, please come forward – your tip could crack the case.”
