Vandals Strike New Gate at Sussex Nature Reserve

Natural England has slammed vandals after one of the gates at Lullington Heath and Castle Hill National Nature Reserve was wrecked. Luckily, no livestock were harmed, as the field was empty at the time.

Respect for Nature Sites Ignored

The conservation body expressed fury at the blatant disrespect shown towards the precious reserve. While most visitors appreciate the crucial work to protect these wildlife havens, some clearly couldn’t care less.

Setback for Conservation Efforts

A Natural England spokesperson said: “One of the gates was brand new just two weeks ago, which is demoralising, not to mention expensive!” Despite this blow, the team remains determined to safeguard the site for wildlife.
