90s Cyclist Collides With Car on Busy A28

A 93-year-old man on his bicycle was turning onto the A28 Canterbury Road from Orchard Lane in St Nicholas-at-Wade when disaster struck. A green Vauxhall Corsa, heading towards Margate, smashed into the elderly cyclist at around 9.30am on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Cyclist Succumbs to Injuries

The cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but sadly died the following day.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone who saw the smash or has dashcam footage to come forward and help.
