Knife-Wielding Woman Snatches Four Girls from Park in Chilling Abduction
Shock rocked Kankakee County after a woman reportedly kidnapped four young girls from a local park this Monday afternoon.
Terrifying Snatch and Drive Across Town
At around 2pm, the girls were playing when an unknown woman, later identified as Anita Diaz, approached them armed with a knife. She threatened the children and forced them into her car.
Diaz allegedly drove the girls around Bourbonnais and Manteno, even taking them to her own home before dropping them off at another park near 5pm.
Quick-Thinking Kids Escaped, Suspect Nabbed
Thankfully, the girls managed to find police and reported the frightening ordeal. All four made it through unharmed.
Officers soon tracked down Diaz and arrested her without incident. She now faces charges and is held in Kankakee County as the probe continues.
