Woman Busted for Attacking Police in Shanklin
A 33-year-old woman from the Isle of Wight faces assault charges after going on the rampage in Shanklin on Sunday night. Police were called to the Hideaway Restaurant following reports of aggressive behaviour.
Drunk and Disorderly Causes Chaos
The woman, believed to be drunk, was reportedly rude and antisocial, harassing customers and the restaurant owner. When asked to leave, she refused and started attacking officers upon their arrival.
Police Cuff Suspect at Newport Station
She was arrested and taken to Newport Police Station. She remains in custody, suspected of assaulting a police officer during duty and public order offences. The police have yet to release her identity.
