Tragedy struck the Cranhill area of Glasgow when a 16-year-old boy, seriously injured during a disturbance, died of his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The victim has been identified as Kory McCrimmon, a resident of Glasgow.

16-Year-Old Boy Dies After Disturbance in Glasgow

Incident Details: Emergency services responded to a call at Greenfield Park on Eskbank Street around 20:15 on Friday, May 31, 2024. The critically injured boy was rushed to the hospital, where he fought for his life until Sunday afternoon when he tragically passed away.

Arrest and Charges: In connection with the incident, a 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged. He is scheduled to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Investigation and Legal Proceedings: Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the disturbance. A comprehensive report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal to determine the appropriate legal actions.
