Bbc Factual Announces Return Of Popular Documentaries – Four New Series Unveiled

BBC Factual has confirmed the return of three beloved documentary programs, introducing four new series and a total of 36 hours of captivating content. The programs set to make a comeback include “Saving Lives in Cardiff,” “Murder 24/7,” and “This Farming Life.”

Saving Lives in Cardiff

Filming has commenced at the Cardiff and Vale University Hospitals for a new instalment of “Saving Lives,” produced by Label1. The series will explore the daily decisions made by clinicians as they strive to transform the lives of patients in South Wales amid mounting waiting lists. The observational filming and in-depth interviews will provide an immersive look into clinicians’ caseloads, addressing the impact on patients, their families, and the dedicated staff. The series is set to air on BBC Two and BBC Wales next year.

Murder 24/7

The acclaimed documentary series “Murder 24/7” returns to BBC Two and iPlayer, this time partnering with West Mercia Police in the West Midlands. The series delves into murder investigations from various perspectives in real time, offering an unprecedented level of detail from the initial days through arrest and conviction. Viewers will witness the complexities of murder investigations, from forensic work and witness interviews to analysing mobile phones and executing search warrants.

This Farming Life

The beloved documentary series “This Farming Life” has been commissioned for two new series, providing a captivating glimpse into the lives of farmers in rural Scotland throughout the seasons. With a loyal audience following, the series explores the triumphs and challenges of five diverse farming families against the stunning backdrop of the Scottish countryside. The new series will continue to offer universal stories that resonate with viewers.
