BMW Driver Sought after Clanfield Hit and Run

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in Clanfield which left a boy with a broken foot. Officers were called following a collision involving a 16-year-old boy and a dark grey BMW 3 Series on Appleton Close, at around 2.30pm yesterday. The teenager was left with serious injuries to both his feet and was taken to QA Hospital for treatment. The vehicle initially stopped but then drove away from the scene. PC Andrew Daw, from the Joint Roads Policing Unit, said, “We are keen to speak to the driver or any passengers that may have been in the BMW. “If you were the driver or know who was driving, please get in touch.” If you have any information relating to this case, please call Portsmouth police on 101 quoting reference 441 8007 4638, or contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
