Murder Investigation Launched After Man and Woman Found Dead at Shooting School – UKNIP

A murder investigation has been launched by the police after the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered at White Lodge Shooting School in North Lincolnshire. The incident took place on College Road near Thornton Curtis on Friday afternoon, following concerns about safety at the location.

Emergency services were called to the scene, where both the man and woman were pronounced dead. The shooting school is located approximately six miles south of the Humber Bridge and is a twenty-minute drive from Grimsby.

Humberside Police have confirmed that they are not searching for any additional suspects in connection with the incident. The police presence in the area was notable, with several vehicles and a large tent present, as reported by local newspaper Grimsby Live.

Chief Inspector Al Curtis, the senior investigating officer, stated that inquiries are in the early stages to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the man and woman. A homicide investigation has commenced, and both deaths are being treated as suspicious until further facts are established.

Chief Inspector Curtis further assured the public that there is no immediate risk to the wider community. A scene guard will remain in place while the investigation unfolds, and residents can expect an increased police presence in the area as inquiries progress.

The next of kin of the deceased individuals have been informed and are receiving support from the authorities. Chief Inspector Curtis emphasized that house-to-house visits will be conducted to provide reassurance to local residents.
