Royal Mail driver has lucky escape after lorry plunges from Reading IDR

Emergency services are on the scene of a collision in Bridge Street, Reading, where it appears a vehicle has fallen from the IDR.   [ytp_video source=”uVxWcj5AhWk”] One person sustained minor injuries and is currently in hospital. There are road closures in the area, and motorists should follow the diversions in place A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire Said : This afternoon, we received a call to a report of a road traffic collision involving a large goods vehicle on Southampton Street in Reading. Firefighters made the vehicle safe, before placing a casualty in the care of South Central Ambulance service   South Central ambulance said that their callers took over 30 calls just after 4pm  after the lorry came off the A327 flyover by the Oracle Shopping Centre and landed on the road below in. The driver had no serious injuries but going to the hospital to be checked.   There are road closures in the area, and motorists should follow the diversions in place
