Parents Urged to Snag Up to £200 School Uniform Grant

Struggling with soaring school uniform costs? Don’t miss out on the School Uniform Grant that offers up to £200 to help families ease the financial squeeze.

Who Qualifies?

  • The grant is available across Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and selected councils in England.
  • Families claiming free school meals, benefits, or on low incomes stand the best chance of qualifying.
  • Rules and amounts vary by region and council, so local criteria apply.

Grant Details by Region

  • Wales: Every local authority offers grants between £125 and £200. Hurry — 2023/24 applications close on 31 May 2024.
  • Scotland: All councils provide at least £120 for primary pupils and £150 for secondary students, with some councils offering more.
