Hit-and-Run Horror in Hounslow: £5,000 Reward for BMW Driver
Mother Left Maimed After Shocking Crash
A heartless hit-and-run driver has left a mother fighting for mobility after a brutal collision in Hounslow. On 3 February, Rajdeep Kaur, 37, was pushing her 13-month-old daughter in a pram along North Hyde Lane when a silver BMW careered in the wrong direction and smashed into her.
The car narrowly missed the pram but slammed into Mrs Kaur, sending her flying several feet. She suffered life-changing injuries to her legs and pelvis, which have left her unable to walk without a frame or fully care for her child.
BMW Fled Scene, Plates Found to Be Cloned
The driver sped off, leaving Mrs Kaur lying in the road amid oncoming traffic. Emergency services rushed her to hospital, where she spent months recovering — her baby girl luckily unharmed. Witnesses caught the car’s number plates, but police later found they were cloned.
Detective Constable Davina Nash said: “This driver’s actions have shattered a family’s life forever. The victim’s injuries are devastating and will affect her forever. Fortunately, the baby was not hurt.”
£5,000 Reward Offered for Info
The police are convinced the hit-and-run driver is a local and urgently need the public’s help. Crimestoppers, the independent charity, has put up a £5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
