Massive Roof Blaze in Offham Leaves Couple Devastated

Kent Fire and Rescue Service scrambled seven fire engines, a height vehicle, and their technical rescue unit to a fierce roof fire on Teston Road, Offham, on Saturday evening. Firefighters battled hard to bring the blaze under control.

Teston Road was shut down for hours to aid firefighting efforts. One person required hospital treatment after inhaling smoke and sustaining burns to their arm and hand.
Residents Left Devastated
An unnamed neighbour revealed the elderly couple, who had lived in the house for most of their lives, have tragically lost everything in the fire.
Kent Fire and Rescue Confirm Fire Extinguished
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire is now out, with crews continuing to monitor for hotspots. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
