Three Men Stopped Walking on M2 During Rush Hour Chaos

Kent Police and National Highways officers halted three men walking down the M2 Motorway this evening. The incident caused delays during the busy Wednesday rush hour.

Motorists Alarmed by Woolly-Hatted Trio on Motorway

Concerned drivers reported a group of men wearing woolly hats and carrying backpacks, spotted strolling along the coastbound carriageway near Gravesend. Traffic slowed as officers rushed to the scene.

Officers Intervene, But No Crime Committed

Police escorted the trio safely to the edge of the carriageway before allowing traffic to flow again. A Kent Police spokesman said:

“At around 5.45pm on Wednesday 26 April 2023, Kent Police was called to a report of suspected migrants seen walking on the side of the A2 coastbound, near Gravesend. Officers attended to speak to the men. No offences were found to have been committed and the group continued on their way.”
