Year 10 Sent Home at Edgebarrow School After Covid Case

A positive coronavirus case in Year 10 at Edgebarrow School, Bracknell, has forced a full closure for that year group.

All Year 10 Students Told to Stay Home

A school spokesman revealed staff haven’t yet traced close contacts. To play it safe, all Year 10 students are off the premises and lessons are now online for them.

“We will contact those who need to isolate during the day,” the spokesperson added. “Students not contacted should return to school on Monday as usual.”

Other Year Groups Unaffected

The rest of the school remains open. The closure decision was made alongside the Local Authority to protect everyone’s safety.

“I am sorry for any disruption this may cause,” said Headteacher Mr Matthews.
