Adding to the chaos, a second crash involving two lorries and a car has blocked the road further north, between the A52 and Foston.
Clear-Up Underway, Huge Delays Expected
Lincolnshire Police, Highways England Traffic Officers, and recovery teams are on scene. They’re working to right the overturned lorry and secure its load before clearing the wreckage.
Expect long delays and slow traffic stretching about three miles approaching Barrowby junction.
Follow the Hollow Circle Diversion
Drivers should use the “Hollow Circle” diversion: head west on the A52 to the A46 at Saxondale, then north on the A46 to rejoin the A1 at Brownhills.
